Tieto acquires T&T Telekom

Tieto has acquired T&T Telecom, an IT and consultancy company based in St. Petersburg and Moscow. The acquisition will support the company’s growth strategy in Russia and will broaden its local client base in the Russian telecoms industry. It also provides Tieto with a sound platform for further growth in the telecoms and media market in Russia. The company currently employs over 250 specialists in Russia.
T&T Telecom’s clients include leading telecommunications operators, including Megafon, Vimpelcom, Svyazinvest, Comstar and Sinterra. Tieto’s Telecom & Media currently employs more than 6,000 experts in 15 countries.
